I’m Aminah.

Welcome to support that's rooted, human, and centered right here in St. Louis.

Doula, therapist, friend, wife, mom, and AMA.

My kids are mostly grown now, so I’ve travelled the parenthood journey through preschool drop offs, late nights, watching them learn to drive, and now seeing them raise a baby of their own.

Motherhood is a journey that is only beginning at birth and postpartum. It’s long and ever-evolving, and requires patience, self-compassion, surrender, and trust (in yourself, your instincts, and your baby).

Becoming a parent is a metamorphosis of self. Like a butterfly, you start as a caterpillar at a crawl, then you cocoon (messy, unseen, and necessary), before emerging with wings you didn't even know you were growing. My role is to be a steady presence for you at the the beginning of your parenthood journey. I bring energy, regulation, and peace into your space, so you have somewhere safe to land.

Successful early parenting is rooted in community care. We've lost a lot of the instincts our grandmothers had, checking on each other, knowing what real rest looks like, and having a village.

I am here to change that story, meet you exactly where you are, and make sure you have everything you need to thrive.
